What Are Perennial Plants?

Perennial Plants are a huge class of plants which generally have a lifespan of over 2 years. Some of the biggest and prettiest flowers and plants belong to this class, often used to fill low maintenance borders in traditional cottage gardens. Much unlike Annuals, these plants are generally fully hardy and can withstand frost unless stated as tender. The true perennials will die back in Autumn and Winter usually after the first frost. Not to worry though as they will re-emerge from their root rhizomes in Spring. Plants that die back with no remaining live structure are known to be Herbaceous.

These plants are always a good investment for planting up a garden as you will enjoy the performance year after year. We only sell Perennials and have a range that is always expanding.
