Product Description

Lamium Maculatum ‘Silver Beacon’

Lamium Maculatum ‘Silver Beacon’ is a fully hardy and versatile plant grown for the striking foliage and pink flowers that stand out from it’s preferred area of planting in shade. This relentless bloomer produces small bell flowers from spring through to the end of autumn, providing a vivid colour contrasting display. An evergreen, meaning it’s attractive foliage is maintained throughout the entire year. Vigorous and quick growing when happy. Has a mat forming ground-cover habit that is often incredibly effective in weed proofing garden borders.

Does best in part to full shade with free draining soil where it will perform at its best. Ideal for use in rock walls, patios, containers and shade stricken areas. Mostly drought tolerant, but prefers moist soil. One of the easiest plants you can grow, suitable for beginner gardeners.

Pollinator friendly, Lamium species are native to most of the United Kingdom and are a great food source for butterflies and bees.
