Lobelia Cardinalis ‘Queen Victoria’

AGM – RHS Award of Garden Merit. Lobelia Cardinalis is a hardy clump forming  perennial. Oblong, glossy green leaves with red veins emerge from their root rhizomes in spring.  Foliage is followed by scarlet red flowers on tall spikes in summer and continue to bloom through to late autumn. Reaches heights up to 90cm. The vigorous plant is an ideal candidate for full sun to part shade borders. Often described as a pond marginal plant. Provide a consistently moist soil.
