Persicaria Capitata ‘Pink Bubbles’
A rarely offered but fascinating little Alpine plant from Japan.
Striking foliage of deep green/red tinged oval-shaped leaves with a light brown V shape across the diameter of each leaf. This is followed by seemingly endless blooms of 1cm, ball shaped, light pink flowers (turning white with age) which are produced from June to late September. Evergreen in warmer climates, but generally a hardy climate contender. An eye-catching, detailed plant ideal for borders and Alpine rockeries which does well in most well drained soils in full sun or part shade. Hardy and quick to establish via self seeding but not invasive.
Ideal for use in borders and alpine rockeries.
