Another succulent and evergreen ground-cover for the rockery or exposed location. Sedum Oreganum is a native of Oregan where it lives in hostile, mountainous conditions which means it is fully hardy in the UK.
An evergreen to no more than 15cm, the foliage changes colour under different conditions where time of year, nutrients and moisture is concerned. This results in shades of deep red, orange and various tones of green on the foliage which intensifies in winter. Small, yellow star shaped flowers are produced and held in bunches from mid-summer to autumn. Easy to grow and low maintenance under the correct conditions.
Ideal for planting in rockeries, troughs or as a drought tolerant groundcover.
