Sedum Spurium ‘Summer Glory’
A cultivar of Dragons Blood stonecrop known as ‘Summer Glory’. Quickly forms a dense ground-cover of deciduous, succulent green leaves with a red margin that deepens as the year progresses. Most noticeably different when compared along with other Sedum Spurium types is the overall size and bulk of this cultivar, which is especially big along the flowering stems. As the name suggests, flowering occurs in mid-summer. Clusters of pale pink, star shaped flowers which are loved by pollinators. As with all Dragons Blood stonecrops, this one is also completely hardy and versatile, well at home in small crevices, poor soils and drought. Ideal in the Alpine rockery or sunny border.
