Sedum Spurium ‘John Creech’
This pretty little succulent is a cultivar of hardy Dragon’s Blood. Sedum Spurium ‘John Creech’ forms a very low carpet of well formed, solid green, succulent foliage with neatly rounded leaves. A relentless bloomer loved by bees, produces upwards facing clusters of pink to mauve, star-shaped flowers taking form on each tip from late Spring to late Summer. The deciduous perennial is a smaller variety growing to no more than 10cm high and spreading indefinitely. Ideal as a ground-cover to out-compete weeds. Suitable in an alpine rockery, border or trough in full sun to partial shade. Thrives in well drained soil and low nutrient soils.
